Maily serves as an area
agent (Wildlife and Fisheries) with the Mississippi State University
Extension Service and is stationed in Hinds County. This is the
location of the State Capitol (Jackson, MS). Maily holds a B.S.
in Animal Science and a Masters in Agricultural Education, with
a minor in Wildlife Management. Both degrees were conferred by
Mississippi State University.
Maily
has been involved in outdoor activities all of his life, and spends
MOST of his spare time fishing and hunting. He has been actively
involved in Hunter Education as well as other Youth Programs for
years, and lists his greatest thrill, while fishing and hunting,
as taking a young person on a trip. "It gives me the chance
to teach them about nature and all the natural resources we enjoy."
Maily
has been married for 29 years to his wife, Karen, and was blessed
with two daughters, Layne and April, both of whom hunt and fish
and enjoy the outdoors. Both daughters are married and the two
sons-in-law enjoy the outdoors and the natural resources we have
available to each of us. Maily has one grandson (Justin) and looks
anxiously forward to teaching him about the outdoors and all the
resources that are there for us to enjoy and utilize.
